When using low DPI settings, the moderate resistance on the mouse feet improves handling when starting or stopping a fast or sharp movement, which is often the case when gaming at low DPI. The G640 provides just the right amount of friction for maneuvering at low DPI.

Knowing that certain designs and patterns can cause a problem with the sensor's performance, we designed the G640 cloth mouse pad in such a way that you can enjoy consistent performance. From edge to edge, the mouse pad features a clean, uniform surface texture for smooth tracking across the entire surface.

The G640 offers gamers improved sensor accuracy. The G640 uses a surface texture that is on par with the ideal Logitech G mouse test environment.

The rubber base is glued to the fabric, holds the rubber surface in place and prevents the fabric from wrinkling in front of the mouse, which can cause a problem with the smooth movement of the mouse. The soft fabric improves comfort as the wrist moves back and forth on the edge of the mouse pad.
